Aboodi Shabi is a seasoned professional recognized for his expertise as a leadership coach, group facilitator, coach educator, and featured speaker. His extensive career, spanning decades, initially involved a significant tenure in the non-profit sector before he transitioned into coaching in the mid-1990s. Since then, he has engaged with a diverse international clientele, offering his skills to individuals, teams, and groups in capacities including coaching, training, mentoring, facilitation, and keynote presentations. Shabi has actively contributed to the advancement of the coaching profession, holding leadership positions such as the founding co-President of the International Coach Federation's UK chapter in 1998 and later serving on the ICF's global board. He has maintained his Professional Certified Coach accreditation with the ICF since 2003 and lends his insights to the editorial board of *Coaching at Work* magazine. For many years, Aboodi served as the lead trainer for Newfield Network's ontological coaching programs across Europe. Additionally, he has delivered training for numerous European coaching institutions and has been a consistent presenter at global coaching conferences. His academic experience includes a six-year engagement with Henley Business School, where he taught within their coaching programs with a particular focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. His contributions to the field extend to written works, with articles published in various coaching journals. Most recently, he authored the chapter on "Working with Emotions in Coaching" for the latest edition of "The Coaches' Handbook."
