Cath began her career at Price Waterhouse (PW) in Cardiff in 1990, where she qualified as a chartered accountant (ICAEW – ACA, 1993). Her exceptional performance led to her selection for the esteemed PW Manager International Programme, an international secondment to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 1998, she transitioned to PwC's EMEA practice in London as a senior development consultant. In 2004, Cath established her own development consultancy, serving a diverse clientele across public, private, and non-profit sectors, including prominent organisations such as PwC, Cancer Research UK, Barclays, and NATO. Her foundational experience in business and commerce provides her with a keen understanding of client challenges, enriching her coaching perspective. She also coaches senior executives in leading UK charities and emerging talent in finance, digital, and engineering sectors, supporting their personal development and alignment with organisational objectives. Her experience includes coaching senior NHS management, including nursing consultants, as well as leaders in local government and universities, utilising tools like 360-degree feedback and psychometric assessments such as MBTI. Notably, Cath facilitated a year-long leadership program for emerging leaders within a multinational design technology corporation. This involved coaching five senior executives, employing MBTI, DiSC 363 for Leaders, and other methods to enhance self-awareness and drive positive behavioural change. She is also adept at facilitating action learning sets, a peer-coaching approach that addresses real-time challenges. Cath's coaching philosophy centres on cultivating empowering relationships that allow for direct, constructive dialogue within an atmosphere of openness and trust. Her primary objective is to support individuals in their learning journey, enabling them to realise their full potential and perform at their best.
