Joanna Shipley is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a Group Co-Lead for the Bath and Bristol Local Coaching Group. With extensive experience, she excels as a coach trainer, mentor, and coach. Joanna facilitates Martha Beck Inc.'s Wayfinder Life Coach Training internationally, offering online one-on-one and group coaching. Additionally, she integrates Equus Coaching, utilizing horses for facilitated coaching experiences with individuals and groups in the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire regions. Her diverse background includes roles as a former army officer, seasoned leader, economist, marketing executive, and homeopathic practitioner/business owner. This broad range of expertise informs her coaching practice. With a coaching foundation dating back to 2018, and building upon 30 years of experience in various therapeutic and leadership capacities, Joanna brings a calm demeanor and warm humor to her sessions. Joanna is dedicated to guiding individuals in discovering their authentic desires and reconnecting with their core selves. Her coaching approach addresses multiple dimensions – mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual – tailored to each client's unique meaning. She empowers clients to move beyond superficial societal drivers of achievement towards deeply held yearnings that may have been neglected due to busyness or a focus on external validation. By fostering awareness of these intrinsic desires and addressing obstacles, Joanna helps individuals, healers, and entrepreneurs cultivate fulfilling work and lives. An advocate for complementary and alternative health, holding a degree in Integrated Medicine and RSHom accreditation, Joanna frequently leads workshops, participates in panel discussions, and gives talks on intuitive guidance and natural leadership. She particularly enjoys incorporating outdoor sessions with horses, recognizing their unique ability to offer unbiased feedback on our nervous systems and emotions. This method provides profound, non-judgmental insights, creating a powerful and lasting impact, even for those new to working with horses. Joanna's individual coaching practice commenced in 2006, initially employing various modalities before developing her current eclectic and effective toolkit. Residing in Wiltshire with her husband and two teenage sons, Joanna enjoys creating bespoke coaching programs, walking her working cocker spaniel, Cora, practicing yoga, and engaging in a rich spiritual practice that includes morning pages, meditation, the Sedona Method, and the Way of Council.
