CoachCompassPrivacy Policy – CoachCompass for ChatGPT and Claude
This policy covers the CoachCompass app (also called a "connector") that lets you search the CoachCompass coach directory from inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude. It is served from https://coachcompass.co/mcp.
The short version
- The app is read-only. It searches public coach profiles and articles. It cannot book, pay, send messages or change anything.
- You do not sign in, and we do not receive your name, email, or chat history.
- We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or build profiles of users.
What we receive
When the AI assistant uses the app, it sends us only the search parameters for that request (for example "life coach, Sweden, speaks Swedish") or the coach or article being looked up. The assistant decides what to send. We do not receive your conversation.
Like any website, our server also sees the network address (IP address) of the assistant's servers that connect to us.
How we use it and how long we keep it

Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in providing and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
What the app returns
Only information that coaches have chosen to publish on their public CoachCompass profile (name, title, location, specialties, languages, price, biography, public links) and published articles and FAQs. Coaches' private contact details (email, phone, address) are never returned by the app.
Third parties
Your use of ChatGPT or Claude is governed by OpenAI's or Anthropic's own privacy policies. Links in the app open coachcompass.co, which is governed by the CoachCompass website's terms. The app itself shares no data with any other third party.
Your rights and contact
Because the app does not store personal data about users, there is normally nothing to access or delete. You can still contact us with any privacy question or request at support@coachcompass.co. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Sweden: IMY, imy.se).
Coaches who want to change or remove their public profile can do so from their CoachCompass dashboard, or by contacting us.
Changes
If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.

Vad vi tar emot: endast sökparametrarna för varje förfrågan (t.ex. "livscoach, Sverige") eller vilken coach/artikel som efterfrågas, samt IP-adressen till assistentens servrar. Sökparametrar sparas inte (identiska sökningar cachas i minnet i högst 10 minuter). För skydd mot missbruk hålls IP-adressen som en envägs-hash i minnet i ungefär en minut. Webbserverns vanliga åtkomstlogg (IP-adress, tid och sökvägen /mcp – inte sökinnehållet) raderas automatiskt efter 14 dagar. Driftloggen innehåller bara verktygsnamn, utfall och svarstid – inga IP-adresser, söktexter eller personuppgifter.
Rättslig grund: berättigat intresse av att tillhandahålla och skydda tjänsten (GDPR art. 6.1 f).
Vad appen returnerar: endast det coacher själva publicerat på sin publika profil samt publicerade artiklar och FAQ. Coachers privata kontaktuppgifter (e-post, telefon, adress) returneras aldrig.
