Jacques Christon
ICF PCC Certified Coach
Location: Antilles
Jacques Christon began his professional journey in April 1977, after completing preparatory studies at Lycée St Louis in Paris and earning an engineering degree. He joined EDF-GDF, where he assumed managerial roles starting in 1978. By 1996, he moved into leadership positions, specifically within the EDF group. These early experiences exposed him to a wide range of intense human dynamics. His subsequent responsibilities allowed him to delve into various facets of leadership, authority, and organizational transformation. Extensive geographical mobility and participation in multicultural seminars, both in France and abroad, reinforced his strong focus on people and systems. With a keen interest in systemic thinking and constructivism, Jacques joined INTERNATIONAL MOZAIK in late 2008. He completed a 96-hour "Fundamentals of Coaching" training, enabling him to launch his coaching practice in 2009. In June 2009, he established his own firm, CREATIVE CULTURE LEADING. He further honed his expertise through a Master of Business Coaching program, concluding nearly two years of study with professional coach certification. His thesis, "The Shadow Leader," explored systemic obstacles and the posture of coaches in intercultural environments or when working with unconventional leaders, a topic he has since presented at several conferences. He received his professional coach diploma (RNCP level II) on November 15, 2016, and subsequently earned his first PCC certification from the ICF. Since 2009, Jacques has been coaching business and association leaders, their teams, corporate executives, elected officials, as well as high-level athletes and musicians across France and the Caribbean. In 2012, he introduced an innovative approach with "L'arbre du manager," engaging and effective tools for intercultural management, particularly in overseas territories. Recognized for his contributions, International MOZAIK invited him to join their teaching staff in 2012 and, by 2014, he became an educational director and exclusive partner for the Caribbean. He successfully relocated a comprehensive coach training program to the region, designed for organizational leaders and managers to enhance their soft skills. In 2016, he accepted the mandate from the ICF-France board to establish and lead the Federation's West Indies chapter. That same year, he founded the dynamic learning network RAIMA ("Adventurers' Network for Managerial Innovation in the Antilles"). Jacques Christon is also a certified professional coach supervisor.
