About
Marie-Hélène BARBIER ROMARY brings a comprehensive perspective to her coaching practice, drawing on dual expertise in Psychology and Human Resources Management. This background enables her to effectively support managers and foster skill development in her clients. Since 1992, she has been a consultant and manager within organizations, specializing in career mobility – including recruitment, career progression, skills assessment, and potential identification – as well as professional development through training and coaching. Her professional journey includes significant experience with leading international consulting firms such as PA Consulting Group, Arthur Andersen, and BPI, working in both France and abroad, including Morocco, Canada, and Réunion. In 2006, she established her own HR consulting firm. Marie-Hélène has been dedicated to coaching executives and leaders since 1995, further enhancing her qualifications with a Master's degree in Coaching in 2003. Her coaching methodologies incorporate a variety of techniques, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Transactional Analysis, Nonviolent Communication, Systemic approaches, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). As both a coach and trainer, she serves a diverse clientele across various private sectors—such as banking, insurance, industry, services, healthcare, and retail—as well as the public sector. Marie-Hélène is an accredited coach for the French Ministries of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, working with civil servants at national and local/territorial levels. In recent years, she has guided managers and executives through challenging professional circumstances, such as pre-burnout and stress, recovery from burnout and return-to-work after illness, addressing psychosocial risks and harassment complaints, and managing team conflicts. Her professional standing is recognized by the International Coach Federation (ICF) with a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential. This certification signifies her commitment to professional standards, evidenced by over 130 hours of dedicated coaching training, more than 500 logged coaching hours, ongoing supervision, and a validated ethics exam. Marie-Hélène is particularly passionate about managerial innovation, including Manager 3.0 stances, effectuation principles, and design thinking. She is also deeply invested in emotional and collective intelligence, currently pursuing certification as a Collective Intelligence Facilitator.
